Wide toe Box

The toe box of footwear that respects the natural footstep should be wide. A wide toe box allows the toes to move freely inside the shoe. Additionally, this type of toe box prevents deformities, bunions, or abnormalities in the toes.

Thin sole

A thin sole allows the foot to be in much closer contact with the ground it steps on, thus being able to "acquire" more information about the terrain. At the same time, this thin sole still provides enough protection to prevent injury when stepping on objects.

Zero Drop

The sole of footwear that respects the natural footstep should have a 'zero drop.' That is, there should be no difference in sole height across the entire surface of the foot, from the toe to the heel. The sole must be completely flat so that the foot does not suffer any unwanted deformation.

Flexible

All elements of the shoe should be bendable with the force of a single finger. Moreover, it is crucial that it is fully twistable. There must not be a single rigid element in the shoe, as the foot must have complete freedom. In fact, the foot should "overcome" the shoe, not the other way around.

Transition insole

A transition insole is included in the design for those who are not used to wearing natural footwear. For this, the zero drop insole must be fully removed, and the transition insole inserted at the beginning of the use of this type of footwear. Additionally, the transition insoles, like the zero drop ones, being removable, allow for better size accuracy.
